Davids philosophy: “I believe that the healing process is a co-creation that begins within each and everyone of us.  As a Wellness Provider I am very passionate about helping people achieve optimal health. With proper diagnosis, treatment and a cooperative relationship between the practitioner and the patient it is possible to create optimal health.

David practice’s a combination of Chinese and Japanese styles (Gentle needleing) of Acupuncture depending what is most needed in each particular case. His treatments have a synergistic approach consisting of a combination of Acupuncture, Massage, Moxabustion, Herbal and Dietary approaches.

David began his studies In Oriental Medicine in New York City at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and later moved to Santa Barbara California to finished his degree program.  He graduated with a Masters Degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2007 from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine.

David has been active in the Healing Arts since 1991 and has been responsible for providing outstanding service as a Healer primarily using modalities such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Massage, Energy Medicine such as Reiki, Medical Qi-Gong and various Asian therapies.  He apprenticed with a Reiki Master for 3 years before becoming a Reiki Master himself.  He furthered his studies in Ayurvedic Medicine studying with Swami Tirtha in Long Island and Dr. Qutab in Boston.  Today David has integrated many of the modalities of of his studies and has developed a unique approach to healing bodies, minds and spirits.  His regular clients particularly value his intuitive gifts, healing hands and knowledge of alternative medicine.  David feels his greatest gift is the gift of holding a space for patients to heal themselves from that deep inner place.  He is an athlete and involved sports enthusiast that has combined his passion for fitness and health with his skills as an Alternative Medical practitioner.

It is David’s intention is to help those that work with him to achieve a state of balance or homeostasis.  To assist people in finding the creative healing force or power that lies within each and everyone of us.  It is this force that in Chinese Healing Arts we refer to as “Qi or Chi”.  The deeper we form a relationship to this Qi, the greater the potential for anything being possible.

At the AcuSportsMed Wellness Clinic, you don’t have to be an athlete to have injuries, aches and pains.  David works with anyone that desires freedom from ailments and desires a pain free healthy body.  As in all team sports, team work is essential with David.  We are all Co-Creaters of health.
